A Religion Map-new Red/Blue States
Since Keyes favors state or community established religions, I thought it might be interesting to see what that map would look like. Here's one from Valparaiso University that shows religious dominance by county. It's not really surprising, but there are definitely states that would have to go with the "community approach" as they lack a dominant religion. And given Baptist propensity towards splitting denominations over theological issues, I would doubt that it could simply be said that the South would be "Baptist."
